Scholarship Award

The Hampton Roads Coal Association Scholarship Award was launched in the year 2000 in order to recognize and reward the scholastic abilities of the children, dependents and grandchildren of the Association's Membership. The goals of the scholarship award are to assist our youth in fulfilling their undergraduate studies at the institution of thier choice, to promote future interest in the local coal industry and our Association, and to give something back to the community. The one time scholarship is awarded each year to an eligible graduating High School senior or current College undergraduate student.
